The gold basket has a slightly looser fit which makes using the breville puck sucker a bit tricky sometimes. Works well with the puck screen.

The 51mm basket is to large for a single shot, the 7-9g is not enough and the coffee comes out watery. I've been putting 14g and that seems to be correct amount which is more like a 1 and a half shot, not a single one.

The basket I received was straight walled and not conical shaped as shown in the image. I thought the basket would be in keeping with a traditional single shot 7 gm Italian basket. A 7 gm dose in the basket is not doable as it results in too shallow a puck with too much head space.
A more realistic dose for the basket is 10 gm not the 7-9 gm as advertised.
Very disappointed, buyer beware.
