I must say how impressed I am with my new WDT that I just received from HYPERGRIND! Not only does it look fantastic, but it is beautifully manufactured. The real treat though, was seeing how well it broke up the clumps of coffee, and perfectly distributed the grounds throughout the basket of our moka pot! High praise to HYPERGRIND. 10/10!!!!!
I bought this as a replacement for my missing Breville portafilter - but now I’m so glad I upgraded! As a former professional coffee trainer, this portafilter is absolutely ideal for the domestic barista. It fits my Breville Bambino perfectly and I pulled beautiful espresso with the naked filter straight away. Love it!

I really like the look and feel of this tamper the only things i would improve are
1) The spring is not customizable, so you have the same constant pressure. Other tampers often have different spring strengths.
2) The size of the tamper section doesn't reach the outer edges of the basket (this could be a basket issue) so there is a tiny gap. Would be good if the machining allowed for a constant and clear press around the edges.

Love the design and feel, unfortunately the width of the portafilter is marginally too lose to fit in our machine. Will need to be machine filled and lose 1 - 1.5 mm to fit.

Maybe too early to tell, using a 20 year old Rancilio silvia, so far struggling to dial in consistently using this puck screen,needing to make the grind a lot more coarse. Maybe my machine is not strong enough to use a puck screen.

Wish I knew earlier that self levelled tamps existed. This has made it really easy to tamp my coffee. The walnut is finish it so nice :)
This has been such a nice addition to my coffee setup. The joinery in the station is really well made.
These are great scales and work really well. I thought they would be slightly bigger not sit my portafilter on. It is really for measuring the beans. That said though, it is still a great product if that is what you are after.
