these tools do exactly what they are supposed to do and they look good while doing it. I really like the rosewood color. The distributor gives me a smooth surface to tamp, and the tamper gives me a nice even surface of concentric circles.

This is a great addition to your barista kit!! It works perfectly as you wouod expect from the Hypergrind guys. Interestingly your group also is clean at the base no coffee grinds i guess that due to the even water dispersion.

I have been a bit dubious about the need for a distributor tool but, having now used the Hypergrind distributor tool for a week I'm convinced of its value. It provides a perfectly even horizontal surface on which to tamp. When used in conjunction with the self-levelling tamper it eliminates channeling and gives a consistent outcome.

With purchases of two dual-spout 58mm portafilter handles, one in blackwood and one in rich rosewood with precision baskets, my setup from Hypergrind has a much more elevated appearance and feel than my stock tools. Not only are they handsomely crafted, they add professional quality to the entire kit. I feel that the Breville Dual-Boiler Espresso Machine and the Eureka Mignon Specialita Grinder, I don’t feel in any hurry to purchase more expensiive equipment now. I’m well satisfied pulling cafe quality shots for my intermediate level of skill. Hypergrind has been great on all aspects. From easy selection on their well-designed website through excellent packaging and reliable shipping, and the joy of receiving, unboxing and actually using their equipment, the entire end-to-end process has been seamless. Best small company experience! These guys are pros and it shows in everything they do. Highly recommended.
